Kevin Goldthwaite, who spent the entire season on the injured reserve before being released earlier this month, has signed with Portland of the USSF Division-2 Pro League. With the Timbers being "promoted" to MLS next year, it's possible that Goldie will get a chance to play at Red Bull Arena after all.
